As previously mentioned in our last article, Social Media Platforms are providing more opportunity to capture more users at once, Due to different types of personalities and attention spans, we see that the viewers want to control the way they consume media depending on the type of Media it is. In detail, they want videos of different lengths on a number of various platforms, however for social media, most of them will agree that it needs to be short.
We have to remember that viewers don’t use social media to view or find marketing campaigns; therefore we can assume it is a bit more challenging for Social media viewers to appreciate this type of delivery. This means that in order to engage them successfully, they need to be provided with the right content that fits their needs in a timely manner. The Personalization of content is key, and this is the social media platform’s job to figure out. As Media providers we only need to focus on creating high quality content that these platforms can then use to match the consumer’s needs. Therefore the more consistent we are at creating content that meets the largest possible base; the likelihood for increased results in our favour becomes greater.
