Citizenship and Immigration Canada has hired Matrix once again to develop another round of videos for use on the Ministry website. The videos will detail the procedures involved on applying for additional government programs. As with the previous project, Matrix is tasked with producing the videos in 14 different languages.

Matrix was approached by Chieftain Metals with the challenge of illustrating the building and operation of a water treatment plant on a first nation’s reserve. Working with Chieftain personnel,  Matrix developed a storyboard and a plan to depict in 3D the various parts of the plant. Animators were then tasked with modeling and animating each scene in great detail in order to give the viewer a clear understanding of what the project was about as well as the ecological benefit to the area.

Matrix Post was recently awarded a contract to produce a series of video testimonials for use by OPG management. The segments were filmed at the Darlington Nuclear Facility and edited at Matrix Post Studios in Concord. The final product was posted on the internal intranet for broadcast to OPG staff.

Educational Video on Invasive Species

With the ever increasing issue of foreign species invading the natural habitats of our local waterways, Matrix Post has been contracted to produce an educational video highlighting the effects of releasing non native aquatic species into the environment. Entire indigenous species are being wiped out by homeowners releasing aquarium fish into local rivers and ponds.

Matrix Post has been tasked with completing the entire production from filming to finished DVD and streaming media for website use.

The project involved a studio film shoot along with acting and voice talent. The use of our Avid online editing system was crucial in the process to maintain the highest HD quality throughout the post production process. Matrix worked closely with a major ad agency in Toronto to ensure that the goals of the client were met and satisfied.
